Education: Faculty of Law, St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia (1971).

Judge at the Province Court in Kardzhali (1975- 1978). Province judge at the Province Court in Pazardzhik (1979-1986). Deputy Chairman of the Regional Court in Pazardzhik (1986-1990). Appointed Supreme Court of Cassation judge (1990). Judge and chairman of a Section at the Civil Department (1990-1996).

Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of Cassation (1996-2006). Member of the Supreme Judicial Council (1998-2003).

Arbitrator on interior and international arbitration cases at the Arbitration Court of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (1991-2006). Author of publications on civil material and procedural law in law journals.

Elected Constitutional Court Justice by the Joint Meeting of the Judges of the Supreme Court of Cassation and the Supreme Administrative Court (2006).
