Trainee judge at the Veliko Tarnovo District Court (May 1979 – May 1980). Legal adviser in Veliko Tarnovo (July 1980 – June 1981). Junior judge at the Veliko Tarnovo District Court (June 1981 – December 1985); judge at the Sofia Regional Court (January 1987 – February 1993); judge at the Sofia City Court (February 1993 – November 1998); judge – Head of the Company Division at the Sofia City Court (November 1998 – June 2001). Judge at the Supreme Court of Cassation (SCC) (June 2001 – June 2005).
