Date and place of birth: November, 20, 1939, Harmanli.
Education: Faculty of Law, St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia (1963). Trainee Judge at the Sofia City Court (1964). Legal adviser (1965-1970). Arbitrator at the Ministry of Light Industry's Arbitration Office. Post-graduate student at the Faculty of Law, St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia (1970). Assistant Professor at the Faculty after 1972, PhD dissertation (1980), Associate Professor in Labour and Insurance Law (1990).
Specializations: Paris, France (1974-1975), the Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland (1978-1980), the Free University, in Brussels, Belgium (1980), etc. Scholarship lecturer on NATO Programme - Democratic Institutions (1992). Chairperson of the Labour Disputes Commission at St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia (1986, until its closure). Dean of the newly founded Faculty of Law at St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo (1991). Member of the Union of Bulgarian Jurists, the Bulgarian Association of Women Lawyers - and also its Deputy Chairperson (1986-1989), and of the Bureau of the International Federation of Women Lawyers (1987-1990). Arbitrator at the National Institute for Conciliation and Arbitration. Research Secretary of the Expert Law Council at the Higher Attestation Commission (1987-1990). Lecturer of long standing in labour and insurance law at the Faculty of Law, St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia, St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo and the New Bulgarian University.
Appointed Constitutional Court Justice by the President of the Republic (2009).
