The President of the Constitutional Court met with the Justice Commissioner of the European Commission

Today, 15 February 2024, an official meeting took place between the European Commissioner for Justice Mr Didier Reynders and Ms Pavlina Panova - President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Bulgaria. The meeting was initiated by Mr Reynders as part of his working visit to Bulgaria and is the next such meeting between him and Ms Panova within his mandate. 

The meeting was attended by members of the office of Commissioner Reynders, Mr. Boyko Blagoev - Acting Head of the European Commission in Bulgaria and the Director of the Specialised Administration Directorate at the Court, Ms Nadezhda Milkovska. The discussion focused on the rule of law, the practice of the Constitutional Court, and cooperation between European constitutional courts.
