A delegation from the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Bulgaria took part in an International Conference dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Constitutional Court of Hungary

On 23 January 2025, at the invitation of the President of the Constitutional Court of Hungary, a delegation from the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Bulgaria took part in an International Conference on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Constitutional Court of Hungary. The delegation consisted of the President of the Bulgarian Constitutional Court, Madam Pavlina Panova, and Justice Prof. Atanas Semov. The forum was held at the Hungarian Parliament building in Budapest and was themed "Life Cycles in the Operation of Constitutional Courts – Challenges and Responses”.

During the conference, President Panova delivered a greeting speech on the occasion of the 35^th anniversary of the Hungarian Court, and Prof. Semov presented a paper with the topic “The Constitutional Jurisdiction and the Excessive Expansion by the CJEU of the Scope and Impact of EU Law”.

During its visit to Hungary, the Bulgarian delegation held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Hungary, H.E. Mr. Hristo Polendakov.
